Celebrating the Next Chapter: The 2026 Transfer Recognition Ceremony

This past Wednesday, the SCCR was filled with a sense of pride and excitement as a large group gathered to honor our transferring scholars at the annual Transfer Recognition Ceremony.

The event serves as a formal tribute to the hard work, late-night study sessions, and unwavering persistence that have defined our students' journeys at PC.

Friends, family, faculty, and staff joined together to applaud each student as they received a medal and certificate, marking the momentous transition from our campus to their next academic destinations. From the prestigious halls of the UC and CSU systems to top-tier private universities across the country, our students are carrying the PIRATE spirit into diverse and exciting new fields.

The atmosphere was one of bittersweet celebration. While we are sad to see such talented individuals move on, we are incredibly proud of the foundation they built here. Each certificate handed out represents more than just a milestone; it symbolizes the BIG resilience required to navigate higher education and the bright futures that now lie ahead.

To our 2026 transfer class: "Your dedication has inspired us all. As you move forward to complete your bachelor’s degrees and beyond, remember that you will always have a home at PC. We cannot wait to see the incredible things you will achieve in your next chapter."
